Joseph Grogan, JD
Director,
Global Regulatory Affairs and Safety, Amgen

Joseph Grogan, JD has served as Director of Global Regulatory Affairs and Safety since June 2009.  Prior to joining Amgen, he worked at the Marwood Group, providing advice to investors in the biotech, pharmaceutical and device industries.  From 2006-2008, he served as Policy Advisor to Commissioner Andrew Von Eschenbach at FDA.  From 2004-2006, he served as Executive Director of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV and AIDS (PACHA), and he spent almost seven years in total at the Department of Health and Human Services working on a broad array of policy issues.  He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and William and Mary Law School.
