Paul D. Taylor, M.D.

Paul Taylor is a practicing internal medicine physician and co-founder of WellCentive. Dr. Taylor received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Michigan, and he trained at the University of Michigan Hospitals. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Taylor’s clinical quality improvement experience includes his service as a member of the Executive Committee for the Primary Care Network of his Trinity Health hospital system, as the chair of his Physician Hospital Organization’s Medical Management and Clinical Integration Oversight Committees, as a former medical director for Mercy Home Care, and as a member of the Quality Improvement Workgroup for a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation funded Aligning Forces for Quality regional health care initiative.

Through his participation with these organizations, Dr. Taylor has helped develop clinical quality improvement programs and implement systems of care at the community, physician organization, and multi-specialty physician group levels.

This ongoing participation helps Dr. Taylor keep WellCentive abreast of the needs of its customers in the areas of preventive care, chronic disease management, pay for performance, clinical integration, the Patient Centered Medical Home, the CMS PQRI program, patient outreach, and community health information exchange initiatives.

As a practicing physician, Dr. Taylor uses WellCentive Registry to help address his patients’ preventive care and chronic disease management needs during each patient’s office visits.

As WellCentive’s CEO and Medical Director, Dr. Taylor is responsible for WellCentive’s clinical programs, strategic direction, and business development.

Dr. Taylor lives with his wife and children in West Michigan.
