As part of its dedication to community, Avalere has formed a formal philanthropic relationship with Bread for the City, a local organization whose mission is to provide vulnerable residents of Washington, D.C., with comprehensive services, including food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services, in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.

Avalere provides funding to support Bread for the City’s multifaceted mission and also supplies pro bono policy service hours and volunteer support.

In addition to its relationship with Bread for the City, Avalere also has a strong history of supporting not-for-profits that share its concerns for improving the healthcare system. We proudly support the The Kenneth B. Schwartz Center in Boston, which is dedicated to ensuring that patients receive compassionate care, and the David A. Winston Health Policy Fellowship, which is inspiring a new generation of healthcare leaders, among others.
